Description:
The program contains calculators and a formulary for 365 different drugs which are used in small animal emergency medicine. The earlier version of the program was written in 2001 and only contained approximately 60 different drugs. The formulary contains a dosage section for dogs and cats, uses, forms available for each drug and a section for other names. For many drugs there are also sections for effects on test results and incompatibilities.
Each drug has a notes section where you can enter your own notes and they will be saved for your future reference. You can change the dosage to reflect your preferred dosage for a drug and that information will be saved in the program.
The program is easy to use. There is a lookup feature where you enter the first letter or more of a drug name and the list will scroll to the drug that you have indicated. After entering the patient's weight, with a tap on a button, the amount of drug to be administered is rapidly calculated for you.
The program can be a time saver for you and a life saver for your patients!
